This heritage-style manor house and associated buildings are built in a beautiful rural landscape on a steep, downward slope that ends at a small creek. The buildings are designed and built by implementing traditional building techniques, using long timber and building it on site. The wood paneling, its detail, handling, and proportions have been chosen to make the building fit seamlessly with the surrounding building stock. The garden and outdoor areas were designed by Maisemasuunnittelu Kontrasti Oy.
In addition to relying on traditional building techniques, this building is notable for its high degree of domestic sourcing. All stages, from planning to construction, relied on domestic know-how, and most of the materials and furnishings were selected from domestic producers and suppliers.
